Obituary

Aubrey Buckhanan was born on April 18, 1956 in Navasota, Texas to Jerry Black and Leslie Buckhanan Black.  He was the first of seven children.

He received his education in California, West Covina.

He accepted Christ early in life and united with Green Valley Baptist Church in Navasota, Texas.

Aubrey worked as a Construction Worker.

On March 13, 2017 in Trinity, Texas, Aubrey's hard working hands were laid to rest.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Black; brother, Jerry Black, Jr.

Those left behind to remember sweet memories are: son, Victorial Buckhanan, Reno, Nevada; father, Jerry Black of West Covina, California; two brothers, Julian Black of Beaumont, Texas and Kenneth Black of Springfield, Illinois; sisters, Maria English, Ophelian Reeves, and Sherri Lyn Boston of Houston, Texas, Ida Campbell of Dallas, Texas; special friends, Tameco English, Patrice English and C.C. English all of Trinity, Texas; aunts, Evelyn (Peter) St. Louis of Baytown, Texas, Claudia Buckhanan of Navasota; three grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
