Barbara L. Dubose was born on December 16, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Barbara A Dawson. She was her first child.

She was a member of Powderly First United Methodist Church.

She was a licensed beautician at TVCC.

She married Mitchell D. Dubose on September 2, 1977.  This union was blessed with six children.

She was a member of a Bowling League and Paris Art League.

Barbara passed away on August 3, 2017 in Medical City Dallas.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara A. Dawson.

Survivors: Mitchell D. Dubose of Powderly, Texas; two sons, Mitchell Debose, Jr. & Julia Schultz of Olgden, Utah and Shane Dubose (Jenny) of Powderly, Texas; daughters, Angela Dubose Richmond (Kelly) of Palestine, Texas, Melissa Dubose Ravenstein (Kurt) of Decatur, Texas and Michelle Dubose Coco (Chris) of Faught, Texas; brother, Butch Ransbottom of Hot Springs, Arkansas; four sisters, Brenda (Jeff) Anderson of Marion, Ohio, Judy of Edwards of Delaware, Ohio and Sherry Britton of Douglasville, Georgia and Sue Knighton; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
