Bennie Lee Campbell, age 76, of Palestine, Texas,  died Monday, June 27, 2016, at Palestine Healthcare Center, in Palestine, Texas.

Bennie Lee Campbell was born on May 3, 1940 in Oakwood, Texas to Hugh and Eastoria (Barnes) Campbell. He was the second of two children.
Bennie was raised in the Plum Creek Community and attended Plum Creek Public Schools.
He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a life member.
Bennie married Nilla Mae Williams in Holy Matrimony.
On June 27, 2016 in Palestine, Texas, Bennie's journey came to an end. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Eastoria Campbell; wife, Nilla Mae Campbell; sisters, Bertha Mae Rogers,  Downie.
Those that will miss Bennie and cherish his sweet memories: daughter, Jennifer Jackson, Desoto, Texas; nieces and nephews, Bonnie (Willie Earl) Turner, Oakwood, Texas, Patricia Hawthorne, Desoto, Texas, Shurekia Downie, Palestine, Texas, James Durham and Arthur Rogers, both of Oakwood, Texas; three grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.
