Billy Ray Brice was born November 4, 1955 to Johnny and Zola Mae (Watson) Brice. He was the seventh of eight children.

He was raised in Crockett, Texas on the North Side, and attended Crockett Public Schools.

Billy accepted Christ early in life and united with Hampton Memorial. He later joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He married Sherby Henderson. This union was blessed with two children.

On June 30, 2016 in Crockett, Texas, Billy left this earth on the Wings of Angels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Zola Mae Brice; siblings, Stella Brice, Carrie Stewart and Dorothy Hubbard.

Those left to cherish sweet memories are: wife, Ernestine McHenry, Crockett, Texas; four sons, Billy (Tiffany) Brice, Jr., Crockett, Texas, Kevin (        ) Brice, Beaumont, Texas, Scottie Mills, Kennard, Texas and Ledarian McHenry, Crockett, Texas; two brothers, Johnny (Dorothy) Brice, MO. City and Jerry (Karen) Brice, MO.City.; Two sisters, Leorna (Willie) Florence, Buffalo, New York, Marilyn Brice, Crockett, Texas; two aunts, Cordella Johnson, Houston, Texas and Lillie Baker, Tucson Arizona; six grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
