Calvin Keith Thompson was born on May 9, 1969 in Palestine, Texas to Edward and Thelma (Hayes) Thompson, Sr.  He was the ninth of eleven children.

Calvin was raised in Palestine, Texas "South End" and attended Palestine Schools.

He accepted Christ as a child and joined Alpha & Omega. Later, he joined St. James Baptist Church.

Calvin was a hard worker.

On March 5, 2018 in Palestine, Texas, Calvin's hardworking hands were called to rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Thelma Thompson, Sr.; Grandmother, Pearl White; grandparents, William and Pearl Thompson.

Those left to cherish sweet memories: brothers, Carl Thompson, William Thompson, Charles Thompson, Edward Thompson, Jr., Marco Thompson, David Thompson & Jeffrey Thompson, whom he stayed with the past 8 years.; Sisters, Brenda Jones, Ruby Hightower and Tamieka Thompson; two aunts, Fannie Donnell and Alice Thompson; devoted friends, "SP", DaQuenta, Kathy Johnson, Mr. Quinn "JB", Dominiquie and Alvin Davis. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
