+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
As the sun rose on December 30, 1955 into this world a strong soul called by the name of Darryl Keith Hubbard was born. He was nourished and raised by Espanola and Genoa Hubbard to be a great man.

Because of their guidance he accepted Christ at an early age. He was a faithful and active member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church which he cherished very much.

He graduated from Crockett High School in the class of 1974. After High school he attended Prairie View A&M University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

After graduating college, he married his soulmate of 40 years, Betty Singleton Hubbard, they married on December 30, 1978.

He worked for Phillips 66 as a welder.

He leaves behind to cherish memories: his wife Betty Hubbard; children, Anthony Henry, Derek Dennis, Christina Hubbard, Ashley Hubbard and Robert Hubbard; 11 grandchildren; sister, Deidra Tash of Oregon; brothers, Sidney Wilson and Oliver Wilson of San Francisco; always there for him, his uncle, Jessie Mitchell of Houston, Texas; aunt, Edna Mitchell. There are a host of devoted nieces, nephews and friends.
He embraced the Singleton's as his extended family and a very important part of his world. He had very special friends true to the end: Gerald Bennett, J.C. Bell, Rodney Freeman, and Paul Ross; the Friendship Church Family and the Crockett Community as a whole.
