Drellion Diane Larkin was born on September 19, 1955 in Montalba, Texas to Ira Lee Brown (Pudding). She was second of seven children.

She was raised in Montalba, Texas as a child later moved to Athens, Texas. She attended school at Athens High School.

She accepted Christ at an early age and united with New Life Baptist Church and Providence Baptist Church.

Drellion married Commie Larkin in Holy Matrimony. They had one son, Kevin, and three step daughters, Stacy, Lisa & Dora.

She worked at Puttman Home for 15 years.

On June 14, 2016 in Athens, Texas, Drellion left this earth on the Wings of Angels. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ira Lee Brown (Pudding); husband, Commie Lee Larkin; infant son; sister Ozia Brown; brother, Galton Barker; grandchild, Paisely Hudson; grandparents, Rosie Brown and James Brown; aunts, Iren Brown, Sarah Brown, Lusle B. Thomas, Ann C. Ingram, Pearly Brown; uncle, Clyde Brown.

Those who remain behind to remember sweet memories are: son, Kevin Brown (Takikia) of Florida; three daughters, Stacy Hudson (Frank) of Athens, Texas, Lisa Wiston (Clerance) of Oakwood, Texas and Dora Kalaya Brown of Athens, Texas; brothers, Paul Henry of Athens, Texas and Bruce Brown (Lisa) of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Jackie White (Ray) of Forth Worth, Texas and Mary Cartwright of Montalba, Texas; aunt, Own Mae Battle; uncles, John Bunny Brown and Houston Brown of Lufkin, Texas; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
