OBITUARY

Eddie Boyd McKnight was born on March 10, 1954 in Lovelady, Texas to W.D. McKnight and Lorene Wooten.  He was their second child.

Eddie was raised in Lovelady, Texas and attended Lovelady I.S.D.

He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Community Baptist Church.

Eddie met and married Frankie Dunn in Holy Matrimony March 15, 1986.   The couple was married 29 years.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator and as a logger for the Harrisons, Due Logging & C & B Logging.

On August 7, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas at St. Luke's Hospital. Eddie left this earth on the Wings of Angels.  He was preceded in death by his father, W.D. McKnight and his grandparents.

Those left behind to cherish his sweet memories are: Loving wife: Frankie McKnight; three sons: Marcus (Tamekia) Dunn, Trinity, Michael (Jasmine) Dunn, Huntsville, Texas and Eddie Richardson (DraLeshia), Crockett, Texas; two daughters Demetria Richardson (Dwight) Crockett, Texas and Mayosha Dotson, Huntsville, Texas; mother, Lorene McKnight, Lovelady, Texas; brothers, Archie (Hazel) McKnight, Crockett, Texas, Dennis (Carolyn) McKnight, Huntsville, Texas, Ennis (Carolyn) McKnight, Crockett, Texas, Wilbert (Martha) McKnight, Crockett, Texas and Nicholas McKnight, Houston, Texas; sisters, Marilyn (Kenneth) Johnson, Mary McKnight and Lavetta McKnight all of Lovelady, Texas; aunts, Margaret Hogan, California, Ruby McKnight, Houston, Texas and Ivory Sturlock, Mexico; special friend, Ethel Richardson; 16 grandchildren. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
