Edward James Meadows was born on February 4, 1959 in
Detroit, Michigan to Thomas Meadows and Alice
Grycinezyic. He was the fourth of six children.
Edward was raised in Detroit, Michigan and graduated
from Northeastern High School in 1977; attended classes at
Trinity Valley Community College.
He worked as a correctional officer at TDCJ.
Edward passed away on December 4, 2019 in Palestine,
Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas
Meadows and Alice Grycinezyic and sister, Deborah
Meadows.
Survivors: Wife, Debara Parker Meadows of Palestine,
Texas; son, Michael Meadows and wife, Victoria of
Palestine, Texas; step-son, James Parker and wife, Crystal
of Palestine; daughter, Deborah Meadows and husband
Brad of Palestine; step-daughters, Jessica Hogan and
husband Marcus of Palestine, Sylvia Schortgen and
husband, Matthew of Temple, Syble Parker of Palestine;
brothers, Tommy Meadows, Tony Meadows, and Michael
Meadows; sister, Barbara Johnson; 13 grandchildren, a
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
