Brief Biographical Sketch of Ester Mae Gordon

Ester Mae Gordon was born July 8, 1943 in Trinity County to Louis and Elizabeth (Morman) Qualls.  She was the last of six children born to this union.

Ester was raised in Joshua, Texas and attended Trinity Negro School.

She accepted Christ early in life and united with Lone Star Baptist Church, where she served as an usher.

She married Lester Gordon in holy matrimony.  This union was blessed with two children.

She worked as a Teacher's Aide.

On March 2, 2017 at ETMC in Trinity, Texas, Ester Mae left this earth on the Wings of Angels. She was preceded in death by twins; father, Louie Qualls; mother Elizabeth Norman; brothers, Louis Qualls, Fredie Qualls and Roy Qualls; sister, Gladys Qualls.

Those left behind to cherish sweet memories are:

Son, Jason Gordon (Melissa) of Trinity, Texas; daughter, Cynthia Gordon (Tyrone) of Trinity, Texas; eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
