Gloria Jane Bevers Moore was born to parents, Clinton Bevers and Gladis Marie Barnes Bevers, November 17, 1943 in Palestine, Texas.  She was the first of nine children.

She was raised in Palestine, Texas and attended Elkhart Pubic schools.

Gloria, in her early years, attended Walston Springs Baptist Church.

She worked as a secretary and eventually became a housewife at home.

Gloria was married to Bobby Thomas.  Three children were born to this union.  Gloria later married William Moore.  No children were born to their union.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Gladis Bevers; sisters, Jerri Campbell and Helen Smith.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Mark Allen Thomas of Houston and Steven Thomas of Irving, TX; daughtre, Lisa Guidry of Texas City, TX; brothers, Donnie Till of Potts Boro, TX, Dale Till of Elkhart, TX, Gary Lee Ashley of Haslet, TX and John Larry Ashley of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters, Betty Ann Carter of Texas City, TX. and Jo Beth Gordon of Garland, TX; a host of cousins, other relatives, caregivers, LaDonna Shores of Maurice, Louisiana and friends.
