Biographical Sketch for Gwendolyn Edwina Gilmore
Gwendolyn Edwina Gilmore was born on November 20, 1972 in Houston, Texas, to the proud parents of Glenn Gilmore and Anthalyne Johnson. She was the oldest of three children.
Gwendolyn was raised in Palestine, Texas and attended school at Palestine I.S.D. and later she earned a degree in Child Development at Angelia College in Lufkin, Texas.
She worked in Home Health Care.
On February 5, 2015 in Palestine, Texas, Gwendolyn left this earth on the Wings of Angels. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Gilmore; mother, Anthalyne Patterson; grandparents, Molly and January Gilmore, Anthony Johnson, Ethalyne Williams Johnson and Grover Shepherd.
Loving survivors: special friend, Keith Johnson; three daughters, Gaberielle Shepherd, College Station, Texas, Katina Shepherd, and Bobbie D. Shepherd, both of Palestine, Texas; father, Harvey Paterson; grandmother, Murriel Shepherd; brother Robert Lawerence Thompson, Tyler, Texas; two sisters, five grandchildren, La'Marion Shepherd, Kativiana Kendrick, Kavan Kendrick, Raziga Kendrick and Adrian Thomas; two nieces, five nephews, two great nieces, a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
