Harvey Angton, Sr. was born February 28, 1942 in Palestine, Texas to Anderson and Laura Bell Randle Angton, Sr. He was the 11 ^th of 17 children.

He was raised in Palestine, Texas and attended Flint Hill Schools.

Harvey accepted Christ early in life and united with Greater Brownspring Baptist Church. He was a life member.

Harvey married Theora Arthur in Holy Matrimony. This union was blessed with six sons and one daughter.

Harvey worked as a Tire Mechanic.

On February 17, 2019 in Palestine, Texas, Harvey left this earth on the Wings of Angles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Laura Bell Angton, Jr.; wife, Theora Angton and 12 siblings.

Loving survivors: six sons, Harvey Jr. (Fatina) Angton, Lufkin, Texas, Rodney Sr. (Gloria) Angton, Jeffrey Angton, Sr., Eric (Tracy) Angton, Kevin (Valandra) Angton, Keith Angton, all of Palestine, Texas; daughter, Paula Angton, Palestine, Texas; three brothers, John Angton, Tyler, Texas, Rev. Dennis Smith, Sr. and Darryl Smith, both of Palestine, Texas; two sisters, Sally Jones, and Darlene (Joe) Helton, both of Fort Worth, Texas; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
