Haydee Rivas Corvera was born on November 16, 1952 in El Salvador to Rauel Rivas and Juana Varela. She was the first of five children.

Haydee was raised in El Salvador and attended school in El Salvador.

She accepted Christ as a child and united with El Sinahi in Palestine, Texas, she later joined La Peña De Horeb in Palestine, Texas.

Haydee married Jose Corvera, Sr.

Haydee passed away on October 6, 2018 in Palestine, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rauel Rivas and Juana Varela.

Loving survivors: husband, Jose Corvera, Sr., Palestine, Texas; two sons, Jose N. Corvera, Jr. (Marther), Waller, Texas, Erick Corvera, Hallettsville, Texas; daughter, Maria I. Corvera Rivas, Palestine, Texas; two brothers, Juan Ramon Rivas, Washington, Raul Rivas Deras, El Salvador; three sisters, Daisey Rivas Deras and Patricia Rivas Deras, both of El Salvador and Carmen Varela, Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; 10 great grand children. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
