OBITUARY
James Henry Roberts was born on October 12, 1937 in Lovelady, Texas to Steve Sr. and Mattie B. (Gibson) Roberts. He was the last of six children.
James was raised in Smith Grove Community in Lovelady, Texas. He attended and graduated from Center Grove High School in Lovelady, Texas.
He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Smith Grove Church of Christ in Lovelady, Texas.
James worked for Wedco Plastic Company located in Lovelady, Texas.
On July 12, 2015 in Crockett, Texas, James left this earth on the Wings of Angels. He was preceded in death by his parents: Steve Roberts, Sr. and Mattie B. Roberts; two brothers: J.D. Roberts and Ernest B. Roberts.
Left to cherish loving memories are a son and a daughter; two brothers, Wilmer E. (Louise D.) Roberts, Lovelady, Texas, Steve (Retha M.) Roberts, Jr., Willingsboro, N.J.; sister: Doris M. (Paul Jr) Garrett, Palestine, Texas. A host nieces, nephews and friends.
