On July 21, 1952 in Palestine, Texas, a beautiful baby girl was born to Aaron Odell and Uberta Harmon Ealy. She was the fourth of 10 children.

Jeneice was raised in Palestine, Texas and attended Palestine Public School.

She accepted Christ early in life and united with South Union Missionary Baptist Church and later New Fellowship Christian Church.

Jeneice married S.L. Calhoun.

Jeneice left this earth on February 19, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Aaron O. Ealy, Sr.; Son, Sammie L. Calhoun; brother, Aaron O. Ealy, Jr. and Lewis B. Ealy; sister, Catherine Cummings.

Jeneice leaves loving memories to those left behind: Faithful friend, J.W. Page; son, Sammie Odell Calhoun of Houston, Texas; daughters, Vonda Whitt of Palestine, Texas, Andrea Sloan of Mesquite; mother, Ms. Uberta Ealy of Palestine, Texas; brother, Curtis Ealy of Houston, Texas; sisters, Christine (Kenneth) Simon of Fort Worth, Texas, Brenda (Rev. Shelley) Dudley of Palestine, Texas, Frankie Ealy, Wanda Ealy, and Vanessa Ealy, all of Palestine, Texas; aunt, Gertrude Patterson of Palestine, Texas; five grandchildren, La'Tesha Whitt, Jimmy Whitt, Chris Calhoun, Cecelia Calhoun and Noah Smith; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
