Jessie Mae Cameron Henderson Was Born August 11, 1930 in Opelousas, Louisiana To Gustavia Cameron. She Was The Youngest Of Two Children.
Jessie was raised in Opelouas, Louisiana and Attended Opelouas Public Schools. After Graduating High School She Moved To Houston,Tx. Where She Met Her Husband, John Henderson Jr. This Union Was Blessed With Two Daughters, And Two Adopted Grandchildren.
She Accepted Christ Early In Life And United with New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Jessie Later Joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas Where She Remained.
She Passed Time By Taking Care Of Her Family, Watching Her 11am "Stories", And Cowboy Movies. Whether You Were A Friend, Family, Stranger, Or Stray Dog If You Were In Need Of Help She Lended Her Hand. A Noble Woman Who Loved With No Conditions.
On October 20, 2018 Jessie Mae Left This Earth On The Wings of Angels. She Was Preceded in Death By Her Mother, Gustavia Cameron; Husband, John Henderson, Jr.; Daughter, Saundra Word; Son/Grandson, Marcus J. Henderson; And Sister, Helen Frank.
Loving survivors: One daughter Barbara Ann (Johnny) Campbell of Los Angeles, California; Four grandchildren, Vanessa Moore, Antonio Green, Jessica Henderson, And Jessie Henderson. Great grandchildren, Lamar Houston, Vanicka Middleton, Jefia Henderson, Charles Thompson II, Marquisha Henderson,Aniyah Dixon, Anthony Hood Jr, Angel Hood, Christin Saddler, Skii'lar Alexander, Danny Richard III, Faith Richard, Khaza William,And Keelan Green. Great great grandchildren, Zariyah Pipkins, Jahari Green, Amauri Hearne, And Kazlyn Hebert. A Host Of Other Relatives And Friends.
