Joe Boyd Abram was born
October 26, 1939
in Oakwood, Texas to John Brown and Winnie Talton Abram. He was the eighth child of ten children born to this union.
Joe was raised in Oakwood, Texas and attended schools in Oakwood.
He accepted Christ early in life and united with Rocky Mount Baptist Church.
Joe retired after 37 years as a Long Shore Man.
On June 22, 2017 in Palestine, Texas, Joe's hard-working hands were called to rest. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Winnie Abram; siblings, Ardie Mae Ross, Narzie Walker, R.M. Abram, George Abram, Wayne Abram and P.J. Abram.
Those left behind to cherish sweet memories are: Two brothers, Jimmy (Ann) Abram of Oakwood, Texas and Curtis Abram of Houston, Texas; sister, LaJean Abram of Houston, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
