Joe Anthony Honeycutt, Sr., age 67, of Elkhart, Texas, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018.

Joe was raised in Elkhart, Texas and attended Elkhart Schools.
Joe accepted Christ at an early age and united with Walters Springs Baptist Church.
Joe joined the United States Military and is a Veteran of the United States Army.
Joe married Donna Boatwright, and to this union two children were born.
Joe later married Dorothy Micheaux, and to this union four children were born.
Joe worked for TDCJ-Beto as a Sgt. Correctional Officer. He retired from TDCJ after 20 years of service.
Joe's hard working hands were called to rest on March 2, 2018 in Elkhart, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Rethia Honeycutt and his brother, David Honeycutt.
Joe leaves to cherish his memories: His loving wife, Dorothy Honeycutt of Elkhart, Texas; Sons, Joe Honeycutt, Jr. of Elkhart, Texas, Tony Butler, Anthony Crist; Daughters, LaDonna (Bernie) Shores of Maurice, Louisiana, Alice Smith and Pamela Micheaux-Muniz; Brothers, Jessie (Kay) Honeycutt of Palestine, Texas, Jimmie (Sarah) Honeycutt of Palestine, Texas and Douglas Honeycutt of Tyler, Texas; 25 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews and other Relatives and Friends.,
