Joseph worked as Security Personnel in Dallas, where he was respected for his professionalism, dependability, and caring nature. He took great pride in protecting and helping others, forming lasting friendships throughout his career. Joseph is preceded in death by his grandmother, Josephine Gray, and his great‑grandmother, Juliana Davis.

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Juliana Gray; his siblings, Christine Smith and Mya Simmons; his aunt, Eva Crumby; his cousins, Ethan Crumby and Willow Young; along with a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
