OBITUARY
Joseph (Gator) McMearn was born on October 23, 1950 to Redell Hunter and Euree McMearn in Houston County. He was their third of three children.
Joseph was raised in Crockett, Texas and attended Crockett ISD.
He was a Baptist.
Joseph worked at the Auction Barn.
On August 23, 2015 in Houston County, Joseph left this earth on the Wings of Angels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Redell Hunter and Euree McMearn; son, Clarence Williams; two sisters, Barbara Hunter and Kaye Hunter.
Those left to cherish sweet memories:
Daughter, Roxanne McMearn, Waco, Texas; companion, Wanda Cooper; step-daughters, Reva (Mack) Manfoot, Houston, Texas, Crystal Cooper, Crockett, Texas; step-sons, Rodney Cooper, Killeen, Texas, Teafton Smith, Crockett, Texas; two sisters, Johnnie Woolbright and Rebecca Dunham, both of Houston, Texas; three uncles, Elbert (Leola) McMearn, Los Angeles, CA, Aaron (Willie) McMearn, Houston, Texas, Rev. James (Mary) McMearn, Fountain, CO; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
