On March 1, 1949, a beautiful baby girl was born in Summerfield, Louisiana to Albert Meadors and Leslie Coral Cheatam. They named her Lollie B. She was the tenth of 11 children.

Lollie was raised in Homer Louisiana (Claiborne Parish) and attended Woodson High School, graduating in 1967.

She accepted Christ as a child and attended Mt. Obie CME Church in Homer, Louisiana. As an adult she joined New Bethel Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

Lollie married Elfert Rolling Sr. on December 29, 1971. This union was blessed with one child, Sharon Rolling.

She worked as a Food Service Manager at Houston Independent School District for 21 years. Owner/Operator at L&S Restaurant & Catering in Huntsville, Texas for over 10 years.

Heaven gained a beautiful angel, Lollie left this earth March 25, 2016 at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Meadors and Leslie Cheatam; husband, Elfert Rolling, Sr.; brothers, Raleigh Turner, Lester Turner, Melvin Turner, Leroy Turner and Albert Meodors; sister, Emma Mae Malone.

Those left behind to cherish many sweet memories are: daughter, Sharon Rolling-Lee (Thomas Sr.), Riverside, Texas; daughter/niece, Brenda (Darryl) Lowe, Katy, Texas; stepson, Elfert Rolling, Jr., Houston, Texas; brothers, Early Turner, Sr., Houston, Texas and Tommy Cheatam, Haynesville, Louisiana; sisters, Dorothy McHenry and Queen Esther Turner, both of Houston, Texas; aunt, Idell Williams; six grandchildren,Tiarra, Leslie, Thomas Jr., Kelvin, Porsche, and Princess, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
