Services for Ms. Lou Epps, 75 of Crockett will be held Saturday March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Golden Gate Cemetery in Grapeland, TX

Lou Willie Murray Epps was was born on January 26, 1946 in Crockett, Texas to J.W. Murray and Dovie Lee (Green) Murray. She was the youngest of four children.

Lou Willie was raised in Crockett, Texas and attended Ralph J. Bunch School.

She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Bethel Baptist Church. She sang in the Morning Glory Choir.

Lou Willie was a Teacher and she retried from the State School.

On February 24, 2021 in Lufkin, Texas, Lou Willie left this earth to go be with her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. And Dovie Murray; brothers, Donald Ray Murray and Delbert Ray Hicks; sister, Louise Margrette Hicks-Burnett.

Loving survivors: Son, Anthony Tremaine Epps (Jerrilyn Morton); sister, Fannie Mae Hicks, Grapeland, Texas; brother-in-law, Sam Burnett; two grandchildren, Keltin Beazley and Kyelan Beazley; special friends, Larry Reece and Hattie Booker. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friens.

Emanuel Funeral Home of Crockett is in charge of the services.
