The Life Story of Majestic Williams Majestic Williams, affectionately known throughout the community as "Mae Justus," was called home to be with the Lord on September 26 th, just a few hours after celebrating her 93 rd birthday. God extended to her grace and mercy to fulfill her prayer request of making it to her 93 rd birthday. We love and miss her dearly, but we also know that God loved her best and that she is now in the presence of her "Sweet Jesus" in the land of eternal life. Majestic was born to the parentage of Sammie and Ilcy Williams and was the youngest of nine children. She attended the Providence Community School and was actively involved in the community at large. Majestic accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Lord and Savior at Providence and has served God and His people here at Providence from her youth up through her golden senior years. She faithfully served as the Church and Cemetery Treasurer, Intercessory Prayer President, Sunday School Teacher, Senior Choir President and song leader. She actively participated in and attended bible study and was a frequent visitor at church programs in the local area. Majestic was a passionate witness for the Lord. In her quest for knowledge about Jesus, Majestic spent time daily reading and studying God's Word and searching through bible commentaries. One of her most treasured achievements was when she read through the entire bible in one year! On any given day, it was not uncommon to spot Majestic on the county roads throughout the community driving at a high rate of speed in her black sedan, running errands for herself and others up until the time that she approached her 93rd birthday when her health begin to fail. The Lord blessed Majestic to be a gifted cook and she used her gift in her profession cooking for the Murchison family, who created and owned the Dallas Cowboys. She even traveled with the Murchison's on their private jet to places like Dallas and Vail Colorado. Majestic was also a cook for Providence School and the AAA restaurant in Palestine. She's also known for her peach cobbler, chicken and dumplings and homemade ice cream. Majestic was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters and her sons, Freeman McKinzie and Clay Vester Williams. Majestic's most cherished asset was her beautiful smile which radiated God's love. Her life and legacy will continue to live on through her sons Rodger (Macy) of Fort Worth, Benny (Betty) of Fort Worth, Autry (Cindy) of Frisco, daughter-in-law's Eloise McKinzie of Fort Worth and Lynn Williams of California, 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-greatgrandchildren. Majestic will be deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, Providence members and many, many friends. "Cares all past, home at last, ever to rejoice." |
