OBITUARY for Maria Berta Garcia
Maria was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on September 24, 1929 to the parents of Luis Garcia and Belen Castaneda, she was the third of four children.
Maria was raised in Zacatecas, Mexico
Maria was a Catholic.
She married Francisco Vitela. This union was blessed with two sons.
She passed away on July 26, 2014 in Palestine, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francisco Vitela Garcia, brother, Antonio Garcia Castaneda; sister, Maria del Pilar Castaneda.
Those left to cherish sweet memories are:
Two sons, Francisco (Leidy Crespo) Garcia and Sergio Garcia; brother, Francisco Garcia Castaneda; ten grandchildren, Jose Francisco Garcia, Dalia Araceli Garcia, Joel Feliciano Garcia, Efrain Garcia, Reynaldo Garcia, Juan Antonio Garcia, Sergio Garcia, Daniel Garcia, Mildre Garcia and Edgar Garcia; 18 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
