Marqee Jayvon Bruins was born on November 7, 1991 in Crockett, Texas to Marcus Terry Sr. and Zandra L. Bruins. He was the second of two children.

Marqee was born and raised in Crockett, TX and attended Lovelady Schools graduating in the Class of 2011. He played football and basketball for Lovelady High School. As a youth he also played with the Little Dribblers Basketball Association of Lovelady, TX.

He accepted Christ early in his life and attended Mt. Zion Ash Baptist Church of Austonio, TX as a child. As an adult he attended Greater St. Paul Baptist Church and St. Luke Baptist Church both of Crockett, TX.

Marqee passed away on August 5, 2015 in Bryan, Texas.

Marqee was preceded in death by his Mother: Zandra Bruins-Elam; Grandparents: Mazola & R.L. White of Crockett, TX and Norton Bruins of Madisonville, Texas; Great Grandparents: Callie & Cleocy Taylor of Crockett, TX; Great Uncles: Roy Taylor of Crockett, TX and Joe Taylor of Houston, TX.
