Mary Alice Jones was born on April 9, 1943 in Corinth, Mississippi to Bruce and Gladys Elizabeth (Luster) Ivery.

Mary attended Lincoln High School and graduated in 1962 in Paducah, Kentucky.

She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Clay Street Church in Paducah, Kentucky.  She oversaw the culinary
department and food pantry at First Methodist Church.

Mary met and later married Joe Edward Jones, Jr..  This union was blessed with two children, Joe E. Jones, III and Terry
Lee Jones.

On December 2, 2019 in Houston, Texas, Mary left this earth on the Wings of Angels. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Bruce and Gladys Ivery; sister, Fannie Ivery Ross and brother, Charles Ivery.

Her loving survivors: two sons, Joe (Sherry) Jones, III, Houston, Texas and Terry Lee Jones, Houston, Texas; two brothers,
Donald Ivery, Toledo, Ohio and Oreese Ivery, Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Anne Walker, Paducah, Kentucky; grandchildren, Maurissa E. Turner, Bryce e. Jones, Ashley N. Mack, Dante Omar Arias; great grandchildren, Nalani G.
Brown, Jamal N. Frank, Lezon Turner and Kai Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
