Mattie Bell Daniels Jones was born on February 23, 1947 in Fairfield, Texas to Charlie Willis Daniels and Zora Bell Gabriel Daniels.

Mattie was raised in Fairfield, Texas and received her education at Dogan School in Fairfield, Texas.

She accepted Christ early in life and joined Fairfield #1 COGIC.

Mattie left this earth on the Wings of Angels on July 26, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Willis and Zora Bell Daniels; son, Norwood Turner, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish sweet memories are: three daughters, Ara Turner, Corsicana, Texas, Evette Thomas, Desoto, Texas, Angela (Leslie) Rhodes, Dallas, Texas; son, Wayne (Diane) Turner, Waco, Texas; two sisters, Jackie Daniels, and Linda Daniels, both of Fairfield, Texas; seven brothers, Charlie Daniels, Houston, Texas, Edward Daniels, Fairfield, Texas, Randolph (Debra) Daniels, Fairfield, Texas, James (Diane) Daniels, Houston, Texas, Claude (Christine) Daniels, Houston, Texas, Michael (Navlet) Daniels, Fairfield, Texas, Ray (Christine) Daniels, Wortham, Texas; six grandchildren, Kalaya Turner, Tyler Turner, Gelisa Gibson, Courtney Capdeville, Mykel Thomas, Mykalyn Thomas; one great grandchild, Tristen Gibson. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
