McKinley Davis was born on January 15, 1973 in Houston, Texas to McKinley McCullough III and Thelma Louise Davis. He was the third child.

McKinley was raised in Crockett, Texas and attended Crockett ISD.

He accepted Christ early in life and united with Jesus Christ Holy Temple.

He was self-employed.

On December 4, 2016 in Tyler, Texas, the Angels came to take McKinley to his Heavenly Home. He was preceded in death by his father, McKinley McCullough III; grandparents, Lou Erma & Home Davis; great grandparents Permela & Richard Davis; two uncles, Jerry Davis, Larry Davis; aunt, Elretha Davis; brother-in-law, Darius Kitchen.

A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
