Life Reflections

Ossie Mae Elizabeth Davis was born July 18, 1938. She was the second of three children to the parentage of I.D. Kizzee and Margarette Butler Kizzee.  Ossie was born and raised in Huntsville, Texas.

She moved to Dallas, Texas and attended Booker T. Washington High School.

Ossie accepted Christ early in life and united with Bright Morning Star Baptist Church. She was a very active and faithful member. She served as an Usher, served in the Choir and many other capacities.

Ossie met and married R.C. Davis and from this union two children, Carolyn and Roy.

She retired from Dallas I.S.D. In Food Service after 37 years as a Superviser.

On November 25, 2016 in Dallas, Texas, Ossie's hard working hands were laid to rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, I.D. And Margarette Kizzee; sister, Dossie Mae Terrell.

Ossie leaves to continue her memory and legacy: two children, Roy Lee (Cathy) Davis of Dallas, Texas, Carolyn (Charles) Hatley of Dallas, Texas; brother Willie B. (Lee) Davis of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Keedra, Kristal, Ihn, Roy, Ashley and Brie; special great grandchildren, Keyanna, Ihn, Jr., Kazmene, Roy, Jr and Tat.  A host of many other relatives and friends.
