Peggie Wilson Miles was born July 21, 1944 to Buford and Christine Wilson of Montalba, Texas. She was their only child.
Peggie was raised in Montalba, Texas and attended school at Providence Elementary in Montalba and A.M. Story in Palestine, Texas. She furthered her education by attending Prairie View A&M.
She joined Providence Baptist Church at an early age where she served faithfully for many years as the pianist. Not only was she pianist for her home church, she also served as pianist for Bethel A.M.E. And Jerusalem Baptist Church. In addition to being pianist for Providence Baptist Church she also served as church custodian for many years. She was on the program committee and also headed the kitchen ministry.
She worked as a cashier, musician
Peggie left this earth on July 22, 2015 on The Wings of Angels. She was preceded in death by her parents: Buford and Christine Wilson; grandmother, Jewel Douglass; aunt, Minnie Fain, also her husband, Carl Miles.
Left to cherish her memory:
Two sons, Chip (Alexis) Carly Miles of Tyler, Texas, Kristopher Miles; daughter, Britney Miles and her Financee Winston Wilson; four grandchildren, Jordan, Micaela, Valencia and Carly; a host of other relatives and friends.
