Peggy Joyce Rose Bryan was born on September 26, 1932 in Lefors, Texas, to James Bays Rose and Mattie Lou Womble Rose. She was the fifth of nine children.

She was raised in Pampa, Texas.

She accepted Christ early in life and was a Methodist.

Peggy married Royal Gary Bryan on July 1, 1949. This union was blessed with five children.

Peggy worked many jobs including, Bryan Grocery, Turner Motel and USPS in California.

She passed away on April 10, 2017 in Palestine, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mattie Rose; siblings, James Rose, Kathryn Robbins, Jack Rose, Ray Dean Rose.

Survivors: son, Gary (Carla) Bryan of Palestine, Texas; four daughters, Karen (Rickey) Drinkard, Palestine, Texas, Katrina Ferguson, Woodville, Texas, Kary (Steve) Prine, Slocum, Texas, Kava (Earl) Young, Palestine, Texas; two brothers, Robert (Maryln) Rose, Florida, Bill (Jinnie) Rose, Roundrock, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy (Carroll) Smith, Kerrville, Texas, Patsy (Gary) Havenhill, Lubbock, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
