Ruth Ester Malone Sandifer was born on November 15, 1924 in Oakwood, Texas to Edward Malone and Willie Tippens. She was the last of seven children.

Ruth was raised in Butler - Shiloh Community and attended Butler Public School.

She accepted Christ early in life and united with Shiloh Baptist Church.  She served as Sunday School Treasurer,a Sunday School teacher and was also an usher.

She married Charlie Clarence Sandifer, Sr. This union was blessed with seven children.

Ruth worked at Pleasant Hill Children's Home and retired after more than 30 years of service.

On August 28, 2018 in Fairfield, Texas, Ruth's hardworking hands were called to rest.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Willie Tippens Sandifer; husband, Charlie Clarence Sandifer, Sr.; Son, Charlie Clarence Sandifer, Jr.; Daughter, Dollie Marie Sandifer; siblings, McLinton Malone, J.F. Malone, Rafe Lee Malone, Alfred L. Malone, Ned Malone, Illa Brown, Clarine Ramson, Roberta Smith, Nayoma Jones and Arleah Gibson.

Loving Survivors: two sons, Bobby Wayne Sandifer, Fort Worth, Texas, Joe Sandifer, Houston, Texas; three daughters, Kathy Minnieweather, Fort Worth, Texas, Barbara (Lawrence) Turner, Oakwood, Texas, Reaster (Tony) Martin, Oakwood, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Willie Ruth Davis, Fort Worth, Texas, Fedalma Malome, Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 23 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
