Sam Edward Goodall, Jr. was born July 31, 1956 in Corrigan, Texas to Sam Edward Goodall, Sr. and Geneva Clemone Goodall. He was the fourth of nine children.
Sam was raised in Trinity, Texas and attended school at Westside.
Sam accepted Christ early in life and united with Community Missionary Baptist Church.
Sam served in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged. He worked for TDCJ at Eastham Unit.
Sam married Mattie Doice Smith on July 29, 1979. This union was blessed with three children.
On July 2, 2018 in Houston, Texas, Sam left this earth on the wings of angels. He was preceded in death by his Father: Sam Edward Goodall, Sr; Brother: Carl Goodall; Brother-in-Law: Clarence Smith.
Sam leaves to cherish his precious memories Wife: Mattie Goodall of Trinity, Texas; Three Daughters: LaKisha Smith of Dallas, Texas, Kimberly Goodall and Kristie Goodall, both of Trinity, Texas; Mother: Geneva Goodall of Trinity, Texas; Six Grandchildren: Reginald, Troy, Malcolm, Isiaha, Matthew and Destiny; Six Sisters: Dessie (Mark) Baldwin and Doris Morgan, both of Houston, Texas, Mary Lou Holley of Dodge, Texas, Patsy (Lewis) Goodall-Green, Sharon Mitchell, both of Huntsville, Texas and Dieann Goodall of Trinity, Texas; Two Brothers: Jackie Goodall and Willie Goodall, both of Trinity, Texas; Aunts: Shirley Davison, Linda Howard and Murine Clemons; Brother & Sister-in-Laws: Aubra (Jeffery Ann) Williams, Patrick Williams, both of Fort Worth, Texas, Fay Ruth McIntosh of Dallas, Texas, Audry Faye Salter.
