OBITUARY FOR SANDRA LOUISE WHITFIELD ANDERSON EATON

Sandra Louise (Whitfield) Eaton was born on March 25, 1949 in Oakwood, Texas. She was the last of twelve (12) children born to this union.

Sandra accepted Christ into her life as a child and united with New Hope Baptist Church of Oakwood, Texas. She was an active member of Living Word Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas - Dr. Paul Cannings, Pastor.

She was proud to be born and raised in Oakwood, Texas. She was a proud graduate of Dunbar High School and participated in Dunbar High School Alumni reunions and committees. She attended Prairie View A&M University before working in education and as a medical biller and coder for many years. She retired from UT Medical School in Houston, Texas.

She married Eddie Anderson in 1969. This union was blessed with two daughters, LaShonda Denae and Renae Antonette Anderson. On May 27, 2005 she married Milton L. Eaton. Sandra and Milton shared a life and a home in Houston and she was proud to have recently purchased a home in Oakwood, Texas.

On April 7, 2014 Sandra Eaton left this earth on the Wings of Angels. In the days, months and years preceding her death she was growing in faith, forgiveness and overcoming her fears. Although she and Milton enjoyed their home in Houston, she dreamed of owning a home in Oakwood. She fulfilled that dream just a few months ago when she purchased her home in Oakwood. She completed the renovation and redecorating of that home just weeks ago and looked forward to sharing it with her husband, her children, her grandchildren, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mark and Fannie Whitfield; brothers, Robert, Richard, Roosevelt, Clifton and Mark and sister, Dorothy.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories:
Husband, Milton L. Eaton; daughters LaShonda Flournoy and Renae Muhammad; step-sons Kendrick Rogers, Chris Tate, Milton C. Eaton, Nathanael Eaton; step-daughter, Tradina Eaton; grandchildren Lindsey, Amina, Logan, Khadijah; sisters Doris, Wyrine, Elsie, Elease and a host of family and friends.
