Teodoro Sorto, age 84, of Elkhart, Texas died Sunday, June 22, 2014 in Tyler, Texas at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital.
Service: Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 am

Interment following service in Garden Of Memories Cemetery, Elkhart, Texas
Visitation and Wake: Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Emanuel Funeral Home- Palestine Chapel from 06:00 to 08:00 pm

Remembering The Life of Teodoro Sorto
Teodoro Sorto was born on April 2, 1930 in El
Salvador to the parents of Pedro Diaz and Aleja Sorto.
He was the second of 11 children.
Teodoro was a Catholic.
He was raised in El Progreso.
Teodoro married Dominina Sorto. This union was
blessed with seven children.
He worked for the railroad and later worked for
McDonalds.
On June 22, 2014 in Tyler, Texas, Teodoro left this
earth on the wings of angels. He was preceded in death
by his parents, Pedro Diaz and Aleja Sorto.
Those left behind to cherish sweet memories are:
Three sons, Israel (Glenda) Sorto, Honduras, Ricardo
E. (Carmelita) Sorto, Mt. Pleasant, Teodora Adalid
(Irma) Sorto, El Progreso, Yoro; four daughters, Ana
Sorto, Honduras, Martha (Marcell) Cheatum, Elkhart,
Sayapa (Fernando) Humphrey, Pittsburgh, Texas,
Aleya Yadira (Marci'o) Sorto, Honduras; three
brothers, Angel Sorto, G'ustavo Sorto, Virgilio Sorto;
four sisters, Concepcion Sorto, Hilda Sorto, Ilvea
Sorto, Fidelina Sorto; 25 grandchildren; 23 great
grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
