Wade Lee, Jr. was born on August 9, 1929 in Walker County to Wade Lee, and Mamie (Hyde) Lee, Sr. He was their second child.

Wade was raised in Riverside, Texas and attended Riverside Elementary School.

He accepted Christ early in life and united with Homes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

He worked as a truck driver and was also a woodsman.

On September 19, 2017 in Walker County, Wade's hard working hands were laid to rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie and Wade Lee, Sr.; Two daughters, Doris Jean and Carolyn; two brothers, J.W. Lee and Charles Lee.

Those left behind to remember sweet memories are:Son, Larry Lee of Chicago, Ill; three brothers, Joe L. Lee of Riverside, Texas, Robert (Annie Mae) Lee of Huntsville, Texas and James (Mattie) Lee of Houston, Texas; five sisters, Lucille Tubbs of Riverside, Texas, Ethel Versea, Mary Lee-Price, Eva Mae Robinson and Flora Rhem-all of Houston, Texas; a special friend, just like a daughter, Carrie Ross; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; very devoted caregivers, Victoria Yarborough and Oliver Mack, Jr. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
